Skate Maintenance

Maintaining your inline skating equipment will help to prolong the life of your gear as well as keep it all organized.

Helmets - Provide students with “bouffant” caps to keep helmets sanitary. Use Lysol to disinfect as needed.

Protective Gear

  • Protective gear comes with color-coded stitching to differentiate sizes.

  • Many schools use color-coded laundry baskets to organize and allow gear to dry out between sessions.

  • Have students remove gear and Velcro the tabs back onto the Velcro teeth before gear is stored.

Skates - Schools use various methods to store skates and gear.
